In-ground and portable goal installation across Saratoga Springs, from the older streets near Harbor Bay out to the newer builds along Redwood Road. Concrete footings set below the frost line so the pole stays true.
Saratoga Springs, in-ground or portable.
A lot of the newer Saratoga Springs subdivisions were platted with narrow side yards, and the driveway concrete often runs close to the property line. That matters more than people expect for a basketball hoop.
In-ground goals have a 2 to 3 foot overhang, so the ideal setup is a pole in the soil just off the driveway edge with the backboard reaching out over the concrete. When the lot is tight, that soil strip is sometimes on the neighbor's side. Setting a permanent 4 foot concrete footing on someone else's property is a bad idea even with a friendly verbal okay, because it doesn't survive either of you selling the house.
If the strip isn't yours, the honest options are cutting into your own concrete, which costs more and leaves a visible patch, or moving the hoop to the backyard pad. We'll tell you which one actually fits your lot before you commit.
Same crew and same approach we use in Eagle Mountain, ten minutes up the road.
